Polygon from map extent QGIS 4 compatibility

Not QGIS 4 ready Likely abandoned

Not yet — the latest version declares max QGIS version 3.99.0, so it is not offered to QGIS 4 users.

A lightweight QGIS plugin to make a polygon from the current map extent.

About

An ultra-lightweight QGIS plugin to make a polygon from the current map extent. This is useful to quickly make an area of interest from the current map view. It works by creating a virtual layer using the project Coordinate Reference System. The layer will persist in the project on saving and closing.
