About
ClipToCAD copies selected vector features from QGIS to the clipboard as AutoCAD command-line text (_PLINE, _POINT, _TEXT) for Ctrl+V into AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT (Real World mode), BricsCAD, or ZWCAD — no DXF export. Select features on one or more layers. Coordinates stay in projected metres (geographic CRS is blocked). Multi-layer copy uses one destination CRS and matching CAD layers. Local mode (AutoLISP) inserts at a clicked point and scales metres to metric links, Gunter links, feet, yards, or inches. Parcel labels use Auto: each layer's parcel_id or Sy.No if present. FID is never copied as a label. Designed for land surveyors, civil engineers, and subdivision draftsmen.
