GeoSpreadsheet QGIS 4 compatibility

QGIS 4 ready Active

Yes — GeoSpreadsheet supports QGIS 4 (declared max version 4.99.0).

Create QGIS layers from spreadsheet files (*.ods, *.xls, *.xlsx)

About

GeoSpreadsheet lets you load spreadsheet files (*.ods, *.xls, *.xlsx) into QGIS as vector layers. It adds entries in the Plugins menu and Layer > Add Layer menu, plus a toolbar button that opens the same dialog. The plugin can use the first row as header, skip rows, and optionally create geometry from X/Y fields. When accepted, it creates a GDAL VRT file in the same folder as the source spreadsheet and loads it into QGIS through OGR. If an existing VRT is found, the dialog reuses its saved settings. No additional dependencies are required.
