DipStrike To KMZ QGIS 4 compatibility
QGIS 4 ready Active
Yes — DipStrike To KMZ supports QGIS 4 (declared max version 4.99.0).
Exports dip/strike point layers to KMZ with fully preserved symbol rotation. Fixes the rotation loss bug in QGIS's built-in KMZ exporter.
About
This plugin exports point layers (typically geological dip/strike measurements) to KMZ format while correctly preserving symbol rotation defined by a field or a fixed angle. The standard QGIS "Save As KMZ" tool loses rotation information; this plugin writes proper KML <heading> values inside <IconStyle> so the symbols appear rotated correctly in Google Earth and other KMZ viewers.
