About
Apple Maps Downloader for QGIS uses a QGIS dock and rectangle selection tool. The renderer uses an external Chromium-compatible browser such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome in headless screenshot mode, fixed to 1600 x 1600 pixels and crops the captured image to left 300 px, right 100 px, bottom 100 px and applies a fixed frame shift of X 260 px and Y 330 px before writing the GeoTIFF. This avoids QtWebEngine/QWebView requirements inside QGIS.
